About us
Situated in the North-East of the country, unfolded, as Rome is, on seven hills, Iasi still proudly wears the print of some artistic, cultural and wine growing traditions. A place like this, ennobled by all these traditions, is the famous wine making center of Bucium.
Sparkling and flavored wines made of Muscat ottonel started to be produced since 1972, the technology being permanently improved. Rameros, Williams Pear Brandy, Plum Brandy and Muscat Brandy, are among the most representative new products, which constitute on national level single, unique products, due to the Charente type installations, permitting a double distillation.
The essence of the Bucium wines is the result of an intimate relationship between sort varieties, climate and existing soils. Combining in a propitious manner secular tradition and modern principles of wine growing and making, Bucium is situated under the happily constellation of the success.
