Famous for its characteristic floral scent, this sort of wine metaphorically called as well "the ambassador of the sunny lawns", can be an elegant appetizer (for its dry version), but also an excellent dessert (when it�s semisweet). The robe of the wine passes with the time from white-greenish, when young, to straw-yellow, after a period of getting old in bottles, when the taste becomes more evident outlined.

Native wine of noble stock originating in the region of Moldavia, Feteasca alba gives excellent wines at Bucium. Elegant, silky as taste and aroma, the Feteasca alba wine satisfies the most subtle desires. In the good years, favorable to the attack of noble mould, it gives semidry and semisweet wines, with an unmistakable flavor and aroma. It is recommended to be served alongside with the beginning dishes (caviar, pastry entries) or as a dessert wine, at a temperature of 8-10ºC. |

| Sauvignon Blanc |

Originating in France, Sauvignon blanc is a variety with a very distinct aroma and savor. As a young wine, the red gooseberry flavor, and as an matured wine, the pineapple and bananas aromas, characterized it as a distinguished wine. The lively taste, without roughness, is another characteristic of this variety, which recommends it to be served alongside the special dishes from the beginning of the menu. Native wine, originating from Transylvania, praised for the looseness and harmony of its component parts, this variety has fitted very well to the climate and soil conditions in Moldavia.It usually offers supple, sprightly wines, with a distinct flavor; as for its smell, a light shade of Muscat and fondant may be perceived. The taste, even equilibrate, is marked by a certain astringency. It is recommended to be united with fish, seafood and chicken dishes. It is to be served at a temperature of 8-10ºC. |

Originating in Moldavian areas, Feteasca neagra can be considered as the pride of the red wines from the vineyards in Iasi area, especially of those from Uricani. With a ruby-colored tint, emitting a gentle perfume where one can perceive floral accents, when young, or coffee and clove breaths when mature, Feteasca neagra harvested on the Bucium hills is, finally, a velvety, entertaining and friendly wine.
It is a perfect partner of meat dishes and fermented cheese. It is to be served at a temperature of 15-16ºC. |
